This client contacted me a few years ago to help her get into a routine. She previously worked out and had a good sense of work out programs and nutrition. Her nutrition was one of the best I have seen from a client. She understood macros, calories and healthy eating on higher level. We worked on fitness more than anything and with her being a busy mother she was able to incorporate some of my tips into her families busy lifestyle.

Tyler is experienced, incredibly knowledgable and tailors my workout program to my specific goals and what works for my family’s schedule. Even though I only see him twice a week, we are constantly in contact. My client started with a goal to lose weight. He was already on the leaner side but anything is possible. He started at 150 pounds and at 5’5” and at the age of 55 years old we worked everyday towards losing body fat and increasing lean muscle. After 1 year he was down to 135 and very lean. Nutritional counseling and a individualized nutrition plan he was tracking nutrition via MyFitnessPal. If we weren’t down weight we would drop another 100 calories per week. The RESULTS show! 

Still to this day he still works out at home and eats healthy. It’s the lifestyle changes that stick. Workout daily and continue to work on individual goals.

Tyler really works with me to get a great workout. He is very observant on technique and is quick to correct if it’s not right . That small thing has gotten noticeable results in just the few sessions I have had with him.He is also a good motivator in getting the last few reps in. Looking forward to more sessions with Him!

Everyone has goals and this client’s goals was to lose weight and get fit. When you talk about results this is one of the best I’ve seen. He worked out with me 5x per week for 6 months straight. he dropped 60 pounds in the first 120 days and maintained that weight loss throughout the rest of his fitness program. Since we were working out 5x a week we worked every other day on High Intensity Interval Training and the other days were focused on speed and agility combined with some other strength exercises. 

Today he is working on his fitness and maintaining new and old goals everyday.

With a program designed during the pandemic this client wanted to lose weight and get fit. We worked out 3x per week and during the first month she dropped 15 pounds and learned a lot about working out. Not everyone coming into the program has experienc with lifting weights or even proper nutrition. We worked on nutrition during every workout and made sure we were bringing in the right amounts of macros. Macros are your fats, carbs and proteins and anyone can lose weight with the right amounts. 

Today she opened her own boutique women’s only health and wellness company helping minority woman with their health and wellness goals.

Age is just a number. This client was in her 70’s and a previous marathon runner. Her goal was to strengthen her muscles to improve overall healthy living. During our few months of working out she improved on her core, chest and back. She was  a healthy eater when I first met her and with a few changes to her nutrition she was able to make small adjustments for better nutritional intake.

I want to gain strength and he knows how to adjust exercises to accommodate existing conditions and previous injuries and still work the target areas. He also provides a variety of exercises so muscles are challenged.

During our program we worked on proper form, nutrition and during this time we taught the proper lifting techniques. Not every has the experience with lifting so every client we start with the fundamentals then proceed into their own individualized program designed for their goals and current fitness level. During his program he lost 15 pounds and inches off his body. 

Today he still workouts and focuses more on nutrition. Nutrition is getting better eveyday.

This client initially contacted me to improve his Golf Game. He is a great golfer who travels all over the United States and competes in tournaments against some of the best Golfers in the game. During his program I taught him proper squat techniques to prevent injury, ab exercises that specifically work and help the swing of the golf club. Over all his program was designed to improve his Golf game. 

Today he is still working out and using the techniques I taught him during his program.

Some clients travel during the program but Travel nurses sometimes are only in the area for a certain amount of time. This client was in the Twin Cities for about 3 months and during that time her goal was to get mentally and physically ready to hike Mount Kilimanjaro. We worked on endurance and strength 3x per week. Over the course of time we improved on fitness and overall health. With her being a travel nurse living in hotels can be tough with nutrition. We worked 1 on 1 to make sure the on her program was healthy and easy to make.

Working the corporate life and having little time to workout on your own this client spent one hour a day to work on herself. She traveled a lot during the summer and even though she had a very busy lifestyle she dropped 15 pounds and improved her nutrition. We worked out 2x per week for about 6 months and overall she accomplished her goals of healthy eating and getting tone. 

Every once in a while I will contact my old my clients and ask them if they’re still working out. She replied and said she was down another few pounds, planning and prepping her meals with working out. The lifestyle change is there.

I was contacted a few years ago to help someone in a wheelchair. He previously broke his back 3 times causing his legs to be paralyzed with little movement and he’s also recovering from Sepsis, a life threatening disease that attacks its own tissues while in response to a infection. 

He started out using resistance bands and I talked him into buying real weights. In the beginning he was bench pressing 55 lbs. Granted he is also 70 years old and hasn’t worked out a lot prior to my training. After a year and half of 2x per week working out his 1 rep max (1rm) was 360 pounds on the bench press. As you can see in the picture he’s pretty happy with his bench press. Overall the goal was to gain strength and get back to a routine. Over time he accomplished more than what he planned.

I am 66 and in a wheelchair. When I hired Mr Bass I could use resistance bands and tubes in my wheelchair but could not transfer safely. One year and seven months later I free wght bench pressed 290lbs for 2 reps. My goal is 305lbs by the end of April. Success speaks for itself!! My wife trains with us with her goal being to lose wght and get stronger. Mr Bass is a dietician and has put her on a program that has also been very successful. Oh, our cats love him as well.

With almost one week in with Tyler, I’m very satisfied so far with his service. I’m a 38 year old mom of many children, lol, with my last two being one and the baby 6 weeks old. I told Tyler my goals, and my problem areas. Three of them being lack of motivation, accountability and not knowing how to tone my body after losing the weight. He listened and has been very motivating, enthusiastic and passionate about seeing me succeed! I love that. Also, Tyler is very down to earth and doesn’t make me feel intimidated when working out with him. He keeps the workouts very interesting and offers modifications to each exercise if he finds I need it. He tracks my meals and brings correction, education and suggestions as we go along. With only a few days in, thanks to Tyler, I’ve lost about two pounds total as of this morning (March 16) when I weighed in. I love supplements so Tyler referenced some to me with the links. Whatever questions I’ve had so far, Tyler has been great on answering them. Lastly, I didn’t tell Tyler this, but I am a big supporter of black owned businesses and was intending on hiring a black personal trainer that I found on Thumbtack. However, I spoke with Tyler before that guy and right away I knew he was the one for me! A few of in home personal training and this group of girls all worked hard to achieve their goals. They still workout a few days a week with one of our mobile trainers and are still seeing results. When I was working with them they initially wanted to improve their athletic ability. With this being right up my ally I focused on speed and agility, explosive movements and strength and conditioning. We tested their vertical jump, max reps and within 2 years they increased their vertical by 4-5 inches and overall became very well conditioned athletes who play competitive volleyball in the Twin Cities premier leagues.

With starting a program 3 months prior to heading to college this client worked hard everyday. He worked out with me 2 hours a day for 2.5 months. During that time he dropped 30 pounds as a 18 year old! In the beginning of his program we only worked out for one hour a day. after two weeks we bumped it up to two hours a day with one hour being a High Intensity Interval Training session followed up with a 2-5 mile run around Minneapolis. He definitely put the work in and with losing 30 pounds in 2.5 months he saw a ton of other improvements in physique and strength.

Some clients have a ton of experience when they start their program while others have little to none experience with nutritional guidelines (macro counting) and workouts. With this client we started with the fundamentals and worked our way through. With proper squats, pushups and abs we were able to move forward into other harder more complicated workout routines. This class is for everyone. We train everyone from people who want to play professional sports to special needs children. We have experience in all areas of fitness along with mental health. We help people reach their goals and adjust to their fitness personality. Your goals should be taken care of no matter what your needs are. 

We bring enough equipment for you and your family! We are prepared and always will be. There are a few items we do ask people to buy and one of those would be a stability ball. A stability ball is great for the core but with one additional ball we can add 15-20 exercises to the library and when we’re not there you have something to do!

We are mobile and this is our program so yes when we send out trainers and massage therapist it is considered a paid session. When it’s your first session there is no commitment at all. There are discounts for signing up on day 1 but no commitment. With being in business for 10 years and being the only true At Home Fitness company with a license, website etc and I we don’t run payments through cash apps you can feel better at the end of the day with working with us. 

We work with every age group. Young kids are just like adults and they like to have a workout partner. If you don’t have one we are your buddy. We workout right next to you and we will help you along the way. If you do have a friend or spouse that wants to join in on the workouts we charge an extra $10 per session for them to join. That covers a new program, the fitness app and accountability.
