I have Cystic Fibrosis. A genetic disease that, when I was born, the predicted average age was around 6 years old. When I was 12, I was sitting in the hallway as the doctors were talking to my father, telling him that it would unlikely I would live much into adulthood and that he should be planning the next 10 years with that in mind. I decided right then that I wanted to make people healthy, and I wasn’t going to be a stupid doctor like him to do it. I was 12. It did start me on a pursuit of knowledge about the body, wellness, health, vitality, nutrition, etc, which continues to this day. I believe that everyone should understand and test the limits of their potential, creating a life of vitality and joy.
